Lyrics
Verse
In an ocean of words
Tiny messages travel through the world
In an Island all alone
In your heart I’ve found my home
Bridge
Every time I see you
Every time I hear you
I can feel our bond in my heart
Verse
Bridge
Chorus
I will never let you go away
Please tell me you will stay
I know our love is real
This distance cannot break our will
Bridge 2
I just need to see you
I just need to hear you
All this absence is leaving me scarred
Every time I’m with you
Everywhere I feel you
Destiny is about to tear us apart
Chorus
Interlude
I can’t handle anymore
Never felt this way before
Madness strikes my soul
Now…
About the song
Distant Hearts is the ballad of Silicon Fortress, about loving someone who lives far away. It explores long-distance and online relationships and the challenges that come with them, and it was the album's fourth single.
