Lyrics
Verse 1
In the endless sea
I barely can see
Where I want to reach
I must have something to believe
Bridge
There are so many lights
Can I trust in all these signs?
Chorus
Come with me, I'll be your guide
I will never let you down
I don't know how much you will fight
But together we won’t fall
(Will we fall?)
(I can't see how)
Stop seeking false lights, right now!
(Do you know?)
(How to save us all?)
Forget about these false alarms, here and now!
Bridge 2
There are so many lights
But can I trust in these signs?
Verse 2
Led by my own faith
Looking for something that remains
I will not be fooled again
Bridge 3
There are still so many lights
I will build my own sign!
Chorus
Speech
You’ll get your chance wise guy
Show a little bit of respect for yourself
Watch your tone when you speak to your tutor!
We live the age of lies
About the song
Age of Lies takes on fake news and a world run on appearances, where every bubble tells its own version of events. Over heavy riffs, it challenges the listener to question what they are told and work out what is actually true.
